Hosea Kids.

Our Kids Program is a place where your children can experience the joy of knowing Jesus.

Hosea Kids is a safe and secure place where children are loved and accepted because of who God has made them and is making them to be. And of course, it’s also a place where kids have fun!

From newborn babies to 2nd-grade, there is a place for your children to come and learn about God in a fun and exciting way with other kids. With trusted and trained teachers who care about kids, Hosea Kids is the place for your children to learn what it means to follow Jesus while you are attending the Sunday service. Children will be accompanying you in worship at the beginning of the service until they are released during the Offertory. At that time, children may be dropped off directly to their appropriate classrooms.

For our 2nd-5th grade children, we have an Elementary Sunday School Class from 9am-10am each Sunday morning. During this time we have dedicated teachers who will begin to guide these children through the scripture that will be taught in the Sunday morning worship service. The goal of this time is to prepare the children to listen to the Sunday teaching and enjoy time with one another. These children will accompany you throughout the entirety of the worship service.

We know family plays the most important role in the discipleship of children, and we want to be a place where families learn, grow, and find encouragement.

  • Check-in begins at 10:15am at the Kids Program Host Station. Our Sunday morning Kids Host will help walk you through signing in your children. Then, your family may worship together until kids are released from the worship service. The children may then be dropped off in the appropriate classroom.

    *If you were unable to check-in at the Host station prior to service, you may also check-in during the Drop-off time.

  • Make your way to the kids area directly following the service, and present your security tag to the volunteer in your child’s class.

  • All of our teachers are members of the church, have been screened through Protect My Ministry, and have an active background check before serving in Hosea Kids. They are committed to providing a fun, safe, and loving environment for all kids. For more information on our current Kids Policies, please see the Kids Host or Kids Director.

  • Nursing Mothers Room: Located in the back hallway for mothers to care for their infant. This room is equipped with a changing station, dim lighting, speakers to listen to the service, and rocking chairs.

    Equipping Room: Located to the left of the auditorium is a space for families to engage on Sunday mornings while tending to their little ones who may need some extra space. This room is equipped with a live stream of the service.

    Family Room: Located in the back hallway for families to care for their children in a more quiet environment. This room is equipped with a changing station, dim lighting, and speakers to listen to the service.

Kids Director

Hailey is our Kids Director at Hosea Church. She helps coordinate the curriculum, volunteers, and classrooms for our Kids Program.

 

Our classrooms include the following components, tailored for each age group:

Bible Teaching

We use the Gospel Project curriculum to provide a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way for the kids to learn God’s truth from the Bible. Over 3 years, the kids walk through the entire story of the Bible, explaining how each story relates to Jesus.

Friendship

We want your kids to build great friendships at Hosea -- the kinds of friends who will encourage and strengthen them as they develop in their relationship with God.

Prayer

We believe it is important to model and teach kids how to pray and expect God to impact them. We hope that this will be just the start of your kids learning to talk to God.

Scripture Memory

Each class will commit to impressing God’s word into their hearts through scripture memorization and catechisms.
